Conciseness Lectures

Study these 3 mini-lectures--Conciseness--before you do a final edit of your essay. One of the grading criteria reads, "Is the final draft significantly revised from the rough? Is the writing polished (clear, concise, correct)?" To better show your changes, put track changes on before your final edit. It's a tool in the Review Tab. Here's a video tutorial on using Track Changes. When you turn in your essay, leave the changes showing. I can look them over and then "accept" (integrate) them before reading the whole.

Essays are due by the end of Thursday 10/4. Email to gordoe3@rpi.edu. Let me know anything that would be useful in the email.

I believe I've sent back comments and scores on all the presentations. Let me know if you didn't receive yours.
