Conferences

We have have conferences this week. Check your times here. My first question will be: "What have you added and revised since the workshop on Monday?"  I know you're busy. I also know that if you give it one focused hour and trust yourself to think as you write (and write as you think) your intelligence will find its way, find a way, and maybe even enjoy the expansion.

Recall how the Spill.com reviewers said they liked District 9 because of how real the created fiction seemed despite the small budget - as with Terminator, they said (a film their audience probably knows well). This leap outward away from the topic actually brought it into better focus, and with very few words. Is there an illuminating comparison or contrast you might make?

Final drafts due Monday 10/29. Extensive revision is expected.
